The Beaver Moon (The November full moon)

In the anticipation of winter, the beaver builds their dams to be warm and cozy. This full moon rings true to the idea of being “full” with nourishment, love, and comfort. The cold months require physical and mental preparation. Though the beaver moon asks us to wind down and prepare for colder months, she is still in the sign of Gemini, which will give us an invigorating push of mental energy.

This is a great time to call people on the phone and utilize your voice, activating the throat chakra. Perhaps this is a sign to write a letters (or holiday cards) to a distant family members on Monday, as the moon will facilitate this great push for connection.

Here are some activities that beavers typically engage in during November:

• Dam Building/Lodge Maintenance: Beavers are expert builders, and in November, beavers may be actively maintaining and repairing their dams to ensure they are sturdy enough to withstand winter conditions.
• To be the beaver of your household during this full moon, clean and rearrange to your heart's content. Create safe and cuddly spaces with the aroma of our amazing candles. 
  

• Food Collection: In preparation for winter when food may be less abundant, beavers may be busy foraging and collecting food to store in their lodges for the colder months. 
• To be like the beaver, we suggest hydrating often and supplementing your system with antioxidants like ginger and turmeric. This elixir is our favorite!
