Melting Flower 

Wheel-thrown, wood-fired glazed inside.

Colors occurring on this piece range from deep brown to glossy orange, yellows, and blackish greens. The white glassy mark on one side of the piece was unintentional and a result of the wood firing. Most likely glaze from another pot mixing with wood ash which melts at high temperatures during the firing. I love the rigidity of the form mixed with the spontaneity of the unknown.
