This mala strand is made up of 108 intricately hand-carved small wood skull beads, drawing inspiration from the Buddhist tradition. Through the use of these beads, one may reflect on the concept of the impermanence of Life. Historically, these strands are worn and utilized as prayer beads, with each bead signifying the repetition of a prayer.
